Taxiride

Taxiride was an Australian pop-rock band formed in Melbourne in 1997. The band consisted of Jason Singh (vocals), Tim Watson (guitar), Tim Wild (guitar), Dan Hall (bass), and Sean McLeod (drums).

Taxiride achieved significant commercial success in Australia and internationally with their debut album, Imaginate, released in 1999. The album spawned several hit singles, including "Get Set", "Everywhere You Go", and "Creepin' Up Slowly". Their music was characterized by strong vocal harmonies, catchy melodies, and a polished, radio-friendly sound.

The band followed up with two more studio albums, Garage Mahal (2002) and Axe to Grind (2005). While these albums achieved moderate success, they did not reach the same level of popularity as their debut.

Taxiride toured extensively throughout Australia and internationally, supporting acts such as Matchbox Twenty and Goo Goo Dolls.

The band officially disbanded in 2006, citing creative differences and burnout. However, various reunion performances have occurred in the years since. Jason Singh has maintained a solo career.
