Grjúpán

Grjúpán (pronounced approximately "GREE-oow-pahn") is a creature from Icelandic folklore. It is described as a large, four-legged monster with a beak-like mouth. Grjúpán is said to lurk in deep water, particularly lakes and pools, and is known to prey on livestock and, occasionally, humans. While descriptions vary, it's generally considered to be a dangerous and fearsome beast.
