Sixto Orosa

Sixto Y. Orosa (1891-1981) was a prominent Filipino physician, historian, and businessman. He is best known for his contributions to the development of banking and finance in the Philippines, and for his writings on the history and culture of his home province, Batangas.

Born in Tanauan, Batangas, Orosa earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines. While initially practicing medicine, he later transitioned into business and finance.
