Permission (film)
Permission is a 2017 American romantic drama film written and directed by Brian Crano. The film stars Rebecca Hall, Dan Stevens, Gina Gershon, Morgan Spector, and David Joseph Craig. The plot centers on Anna and Will, a couple who have been together since high school and decide, at the urging of friends, to experiment with sleeping with other people before committing to marriage. This opens up questions about their relationship and individual identities, forcing them to confront insecurities and desires they hadn't previously acknowledged. The film explores themes of monogamy, commitment, identity, and the challenges of long-term relationships in a modern context.
