Martin McLaughlin (politician)

Martin McLaughlin is an American politician. He is currently a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 52nd district. The 52nd district includes portions of Lake County, Illinois. He assumed office in January 2021.

McLaughlin is a Republican. Prior to serving in the Illinois House, he served as the Mayor of Barrington Hills, Illinois. His legislative priorities have included fiscal responsibility, property tax relief, and supporting local businesses. He has also been involved in issues related to education and public safety.
