Kevin Short (RNZAF officer)

Kevin Short is a retired Air Vice-Marshal of the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF). He served as the Chief of Air Force from 2015 to 2018. During his tenure, he oversaw the RNZAF's contribution to various international operations and its modernization programs. Prior to becoming Chief of Air Force, Short held various command and staff appointments within the RNZAF, including command of No. 40 Squadron and Air Component Commander. He is a graduate of the Royal Air Force Staff College and holds a master's degree in Strategic Studies.
