Ladushkin

Ladushkin is a town located in the Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia. It is situated near the Vistula Lagoon, a shallow body of water separated from the Baltic Sea by the Vistula Spit. The town has a population of approximately 3,000 people.

Historically, the area was part of East Prussia. Prior to 1945, the town was known as Ludwigsort (German) and was part of Germany. Following World War II, the territory was annexed by the Soviet Union and renamed Ladushkin in 1946 in honor of Soviet soldier Ivan Martynovich Ladushkin, who died in the area during the war.

The economy of Ladushkin is primarily based on fishing, agriculture, and small-scale industries. The town also serves as a local administrative center.

Ladushkin is connected to other towns and cities in the Kaliningrad Oblast by roads. Its proximity to the Vistula Lagoon also makes it a location for recreational activities.
