Passiondale (album)

Passiondale is the eighth full-length studio album by the Belgian death metal band Aborted. It was released in 2009 via Century Media Records. The album is a concept album based on the Battle of Passchendaele (also known as the Third Battle of Ypres) during World War I. The lyrics and overall thematic content focus on the brutality and futility of the trench warfare experienced during that battle.
