Koyo Zom

Koyo Zom is the highest peak in the Hindu Raj mountain range of Pakistan. Located in the Chitral District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, it has a summit elevation of approximately 6,872 meters (22,546 feet). Koyo Zom is a prominent and visually striking mountain, often noted for its steep faces and challenging climbing conditions. The peak is situated near the border with Afghanistan, contributing to its remote and relatively inaccessible location.

Due to its challenging nature and remoteness, Koyo Zom is not frequently climbed compared to some of the more popular peaks in the Karakoram range. Information regarding successful ascents and climbing routes is less widely documented. The mountain's prominence and elevation, however, make it a desirable objective for experienced mountaineers seeking difficult and less crowded climbing expeditions. The surrounding region is characterized by rugged terrain, glaciers, and a harsh climate, requiring careful planning and acclimatization for any attempt to summit.
