United We Fall (TV series)

United We Fall is an American television sitcom that aired on ABC during the summer of 2020. Created by Julius Sharpe, the series revolves around the daily life of Jo and Al Rodriguez, a young married couple raising their two children while navigating the often-overbearing interference and opinions of their large, close-knit families.

The show's humor is derived from the relatable struggles of parenthood, coupled with the contrasting personalities and perspectives of Jo's traditional Catholic Mexican-American family and Al's more liberal Irish-Catholic upbringing. Key characters include Jo's mother, Digna, and Al's mother, Sandy, both of whom frequently offer unsolicited advice and participate in the couple's family life.

Starring Christina Vidal Mitchell and Will Sasso as Jo and Al respectively, the series also featured Jane Curtin as Sandy and Guillermo Díaz as Jo's brother, Chuy.
