Len Smith (rugby league)

Len Smith was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s and 1950s. He primarily played as a halfback.

Smith played for the Western Suburbs Magpies in the New South Wales Rugby Football League (NSWRFL) competition. He was a member of their premiership-winning teams in 1948 and 1952.

He also represented New South Wales and Australia. He toured Great Britain with the Australian national team in 1948-49, playing in all three Tests against Great Britain. Smith was known for his clever playmaking and tactical kicking. He is considered a significant figure in the history of the Western Suburbs club.
