Chris Riley (American soccer)

Chris Riley (born December 25, 1988) is an American former professional soccer player. He typically played as a defender.

Riley played college soccer at Wake Forest University from 2007 to 2010. During his time there, he was a key member of the team, contributing to their success in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the NCAA tournament.

Following his college career, Riley was drafted by D.C. United in the 2011 Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft. He spent several seasons with D.C. United, making appearances for the first team and also playing for their reserve team.
