Uzi Cohen

Uzi Cohen (Hebrew: עוזי כהן, 1952 – 2008) was an Israeli politician. He served as a member of the Knesset for Likud between 1996 and 2003.

Cohen was born in Kiryat Ata. Prior to entering politics, he worked in business and local government, including serving as Deputy Mayor of Ra'anana.

In 1996, he was elected to the Knesset on the Likud list. He served on several committees, including the Finance Committee and the Internal Affairs and Environment Committee. He was known for his outspoken views and strong support for the Likud party line.

Cohen lost his seat in the 2003 elections. After leaving the Knesset, he remained active in public life and continued to advocate for his political beliefs.

He died in 2008 after a long illness.
