K-22 (Kansas highway)
K-22 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Kansas. It runs for approximately 46 miles (74 km) across the north-central portion of the state, primarily serving local traffic and connecting several small communities.
The highway's western terminus is at U.S. Route 281 near Osborne. From there, it generally heads east, passing through or near the towns of Downs and Cawker City. Its eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 24 near Beloit.
K-22 provides access to tourist attractions such as Waconda Lake, also known as Glen Elder Reservoir, a major recreation area in north-central Kansas. The highway plays a role in facilitating travel and commerce within the region. While not a major through route, it is a vital connector for the communities it serves.
