Clone (Leo Kottke and Mike Gordon album)

Clone is a studio album released in 2002 by acoustic guitarist Leo Kottke and Phish bassist Mike Gordon. The album consists primarily of instrumental pieces, showcasing both Kottke's fingerstyle guitar playing and Gordon's bass work, often incorporating elements of folk, bluegrass, and experimental music. It is a collaboration between two musicians known for their distinctive and often unconventional approaches to their respective instruments. The album features original compositions as well as a cover of the traditional song "Sweet Emotion." Clone followed their first collaborative album, Sixty Six Steps.
