Bob Owens (American football, born 1946)

Bob Owens (born December 14, 1946) is a former American football player. He played as a defensive back in the National Football League (NFL).

Owens played college football at the University of Oklahoma. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the 10th round of the 1969 NFL Draft. He played for the Chargers from 1969 to 1972. After his time with the Chargers, Owens played for the Miami Dolphins in 1973. His NFL career spanned five seasons.
