Mitch White (baseball)
Mitch White (born December 28, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher currently in the organization of the San Francisco Giants. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays.
White attended Santa Clara University, where he played college baseball for the Santa Clara Broncos. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft.
He made his MLB debut with the Dodgers on August 28, 2020. He served as a swingman for the Dodgers, pitching both as a starter and out of the bullpen.
On August 2, 2022, White was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for minor league pitchers Nick Frasso and Moises Brito. He made his Blue Jays debut on August 7, 2022.
White was claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Dodgers on November 22, 2023, and then claimed off waivers by the San Francisco Giants on November 27, 2023. He was outrighted to the minor leagues on March 24, 2024.
