Po Ya (crater)
Po Ya is a small lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located within the Mare Orientale basin, specifically in the inner ring feature known as the Montes Rook. Po Ya is situated in the southwestern portion of the Montes Rook. The name "Po Ya" is of Chinese origin. Information on specific details regarding its geological composition, dimensions, and formation process is relatively limited compared to larger or more prominently located lunar features. Its existence is primarily documented through lunar mapping missions. Being within a large impact basin, the surrounding terrain is heavily influenced by the basin's formation processes, including ejecta deposits and tectonic features.
