Jason Taylor (rugby league)

Jason Taylor is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer and coach. He primarily played halfback and was known for his tactical kicking game and general playmaking abilities.

Taylor played for several clubs in the National Rugby League (NRL), including the Western Suburbs Magpies, North Sydney Bears, Northern Eagles, and Parramatta Eels. He achieved significant success as a player, including representing New South Wales in State of Origin and Australia internationally.

Following his playing career, Taylor transitioned into coaching. He held head coaching roles at the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Parramatta Eels (on multiple occasions), and Wests Tigers. His coaching career has been met with varying degrees of success, and he is often analysed for his tactical decisions and team management. He has also worked as a television commentator for rugby league.
