Ashley Bell (actress)
Ashley Bell (born June 8, 1986) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Nell Sweetzer in the found footage horror film The Last Exorcism (2010) and its sequel The Last Exorcism Part II (2013).
Bell was born in Santa Monica, California, to actress Victoria Tennant and actor Bruce Davison. She attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied acting and experimental theatre.
Her acting career began with guest appearances on television shows such as Strong Medicine, Judging Amy, Boston Public, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
In The Last Exorcism, Bell played a young woman believed to be possessed by a demon. Her performance garnered significant critical acclaim, earning her nominations for several awards, including a MTV Movie Award for Best Scared-As-Shit Performance.
Bell has also appeared in other films, including Love & Mercy (2014), Carnage Park (2016), Don't Breathe (2016), Along Came the Devil (2018) and Tales from the Lodge (2019). She continues to work in both film and television.
