Norman Hardy (cricketer, born 1907)
Norman Hardy (1907-1987) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire between 1928 and 1936. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler, Hardy played 93 first-class matches, scoring 2,856 runs at an average of 20.99 with a highest score of 119. He took 5 wickets at an average of 23.20 with a best of 3 for 28. Born in Clay Cross, Derbyshire, he died in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. His most successful season was in 1931, when he scored 778 runs.
