Ed Sweeney (trade unionist)

Ed Sweeney was a British trade unionist who served as the General Secretary of the Transport Salaried Staffs' Association (TSSA) from 2004 to 2011.

Sweeney began his career in the rail industry and rose through the ranks of the TSSA, becoming a prominent figure in advocating for the rights and interests of its members. During his tenure as General Secretary, he focused on issues such as job security, pay, and working conditions for staff across various transport sectors, including rail, ferry, and travel.
