Roger Smith (New Zealand footballer)

Roger Smith is a former association football (soccer) player who represented New Zealand at international level.

Smith played for Mount Wellington in the New Zealand National Soccer League. He earned eight caps for the New Zealand national team, the All Whites, between 1979 and 1982.

Smith made his All Whites debut in a 0-0 draw against Australia on 29 June 1979. He was a member of the New Zealand squad that qualified for the 1982 FIFA World Cup, although he did not feature in any of the finals matches in Spain. His final international appearance came in a 2-0 win against Fiji on 28 February 1982.
