Detroit Falcons (CoHL)

The Detroit Falcons were a professional ice hockey team that played in the Colonial Hockey League (CoHL) during the 1994-95 season. They were based in Detroit, Michigan. The team was owned by Frank Quinn, who also owned the neighboring Detroit Compuware Ambassadors of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The Falcons played their home games at the Detroit Ice Rink at the corner of Mound and 17 Mile Roads in Sterling Heights. The team was relatively unsuccessful on the ice and folded after just one season of play. Their head coach and general manager was Dave Debol. The CoHL would later rebrand as the United Hockey League (UHL).
