Albert Smith (footballer, born 1887)
Albert Smith (born 1887, date of death unknown) was an English professional footballer who played as an outside left.
Smith began his career at Newcastle United, although he did not make any first-team appearances. He moved to Southern League side Swindon Town in 1908, where he became a regular player.
In 1910, Smith transferred to Tottenham Hotspur, also of the Southern League. He made a significant impact at Spurs, featuring regularly in their lineup. He continued playing for Tottenham after they were elected to the Football League in 1920, appearing in the Second Division. He left Tottenham in 1921.
