Ken Isaacs (executive)
Ken Isaacs is an American executive and humanitarian aid worker. He has held leadership positions in various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and government agencies focused on international relief and development.
Isaacs is best known for his work with Samaritan's Purse, an international Christian relief organization headed by Franklin Graham. He served as Vice President of Programs and Government Relations at Samaritan's Purse for many years, overseeing the organization's disaster response and development projects around the world. His responsibilities included managing large-scale humanitarian operations in response to events such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and disease outbreaks.
Prior to his work at Samaritan's Purse, Isaacs held positions with other organizations involved in international aid and development.
In 2019, Isaacs was nominated by President Donald Trump to serve as Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), a United Nations agency. His nomination was later withdrawn due to concerns expressed by some member states regarding his past statements and views on immigration policy.
