Metro (1997 film)

Metro is a 1997 American action thriller film directed by Thomas Carter and starring Eddie Murphy, Michael Rapaport, and Michael Wincott. Murphy plays Scott Roper, a hostage negotiator with the San Francisco Police Department. The film revolves around Roper's pursuit of Michael Korda (Wincott), a psychopathic jewel thief he failed to apprehend years prior. Korda kidnaps Roper's girlfriend, Ronnie Tate (Carmen Ejogo), and demands a large ransom in diamonds.
