Disgaea 2

Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Nippon Ichi Software. It is the second main installment in the Disgaea series, released in 2006 for the PlayStation 2. It was later ported to the PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and PC.

The story centers around Adel, a young man from the Veldime, a world cursed by the Overlord Zenon, transforming its inhabitants into demons. To lift the curse, Adel embarks on a quest to defeat Zenon, aided by his companions, including Rozalin, Zenon's supposed daughter.

Disgaea 2 retains the series' signature strategic gameplay, emphasizing character customization, level grinding, and over-the-top special attacks. Key gameplay features include the Item World, a procedurally generated dungeon within items that allows players to strengthen them; Geo Panels, colored tiles on the battlefield that can affect stats and grant bonuses or penalties; and the ability to lift and throw characters to traverse the map or create powerful chain attacks. New features introduced in Disgaea 2 include the Crime System, which allows players to gain rewards for committing crimes within the game, and the Magichange system, which allows monster characters to transform into weapons for human characters.
