Fredy Otárola

Fredy Otárola Peñaranda is a Peruvian lawyer and politician. He has served in various roles in the Peruvian government, most notably as Prime Minister of Peru under President Ollanta Humala from June 2014 to February 2015.

Otárola is a member of the Peruvian Nationalist Party. He has also served as Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion. Prior to his executive roles, he was a Congressman representing Ancash. His political career has been marked by periods of prominence within the Humala administration and subsequent involvement in Peruvian political discourse. He has often commented on national affairs and developments in Peruvian politics since leaving the premiership.
