Ian Turner (Irish footballer)
Ian Turner (born 28 August 1989) is an Irish professional footballer who typically plays as a midfielder.
Turner began his senior career with Cork City in 2008. He had a loan spell with Avondale United in 2009. He returned to Cork City and remained with them until 2014.
Following his time with Cork City, Turner joined Limerick in 2015. He then moved to Galway United later that year.
Turner signed for Cobh Ramblers in 2017. He was a key player for the club and enjoyed a successful spell there.
In 2023, he re-joined Avondale United.
Turner has also represented the Republic of Ireland at underage level. He is known for his work rate and passing ability in midfield.
