Craig Edwards (Australian footballer)
Craig Edwards (born 13 June 1970) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy and Richmond in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Edwards was recruited from Port Melbourne in the Victorian Football Association (VFA). He played primarily as a defender.
He debuted for Fitzroy in 1991 and played 53 games for the club over four seasons. His best season came in 1993, when he played 20 games.
In 1995, he was traded to Richmond. He played 29 games for the Tigers across the 1995 and 1996 seasons before being delisted. His career was marked by consistent effort and a reliable presence in the backline, though he never reached elite status.
