Electoral district of North Eastern Boroughs (NSW Legislative Council)

The Electoral district of North Eastern Boroughs was a multi-member constituency of the New South Wales Legislative Council, created in 1843. It elected two members initially, and later three. It encompassed a group of "boroughs" in the north-eastern part of New South Wales, Australia. The boroughs included in the district shifted over time, reflecting population changes and the creation of new municipalities. The district's boundaries generally encompassed towns and settlements within the broader New England region.

The district was one of the original electoral districts established under the 1842 Electoral Act, which partially introduced representative government to New South Wales. Electors were required to meet property qualifications. The district played a role in representing the interests of settlers, landowners, and emerging urban communities in the north-eastern region in the Legislative Council. The district was abolished in 1851, following the expansion of the Legislative Council and the introduction of new electoral arrangements. The area it formerly covered was subsequently divided into different electoral districts.
