Avigliana

Avigliana is a town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont, Italy. Located approximately 35 kilometers west of Turin, it lies in the Susa Valley.

History: The area around Avigliana has been inhabited since pre-Roman times. Avigliana was controlled by various noble families, including the House of Savoy.
