Fleinvær

Fleinvær is a small archipelago located in the municipality of Gildeskål, Nordland county, Norway. Situated west of the mainland, it's known for its unique landscape, comprising numerous islands, islets, and skerries. The main islands are Sandvær, Sørarnøy, and Nordarnøy.

Historically, Fleinvær has been a fishing community. While fishing remains important, tourism has become increasingly significant due to the area's natural beauty and opportunities for activities like kayaking, hiking, and birdwatching. The archipelago provides habitats for various seabird species.
