Don Hay

Don Hay (born February 10, 1954) is a Canadian former ice hockey coach and player. He is best known for his extensive coaching career in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he spent over 30 seasons.

Hay's WHL coaching career included stints with the Kamloops Blazers, Tri-City Americans, Calgary Hitmen, and Vancouver Giants. He is a two-time Memorial Cup champion, having won with the Kamloops Blazers in 1994 and 1995. He also led the Vancouver Giants to a Memorial Cup championship in 2006.

Hay has also coached at the international level, serving as the head coach for Team Canada at the IIHF World Junior Championship.

As a player, Hay played in the WHL for the New Westminster Bruins. He was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft.
