John McDonald (Western Australian politician)

John McDonald (born 1945) is an Australian politician who served as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from 1996 to 2008, representing the electorate of Moore. He was initially elected as a Liberal Party member but later became an independent.

McDonald's political career was marked by his strong advocacy for regional issues and his willingness to cross party lines.
