Dan Moriarty (cricketer)
Dan Moriarty (born February 10, 1987) is an Australian cricketer who plays as a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. He has represented New South Wales and Tasmania in Australian domestic cricket.
Moriarty made his first-class debut for New South Wales in the 2008-09 season. He was known for his ability to generate significant turn and bounce with his bowling. While he showed promise, he struggled to maintain a consistent place in the New South Wales side and later moved to Tasmania in search of more opportunities.
During his career, Moriarty has also played grade cricket in Sydney, contributing to his local club's success. He has demonstrated his skills in both first-class and limited-overs cricket formats. While not a prolific run-scorer, he occasionally contributed with the bat lower down the order.
