Ken Anderson (wrestler)
Ken Anderson (born March 6, 1976), also known by the ring names Mr. Kennedy (in WWE) and Mr. Anderson (in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, now Impact Wrestling), is an American professional wrestler and actor.
Anderson began his professional wrestling career in 1999, primarily working for independent promotions in the Midwest of the United States. He signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2005, debuting on the SmackDown! brand as Mr. Kennedy. During his time in WWE, he won the United States Championship and the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 23. His WWE career was marked by injuries and suspensions, leading to his release in 2009.
Following his WWE departure, Anderson joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in 2010, adopting the ring name Mr. Anderson. In TNA, he achieved significant success, winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice. He remained with TNA until his release in 2016.
Anderson's wrestling style is characterized by his charismatic personality, his signature microphone work (often introducing himself in a unique manner), and a versatile in-ring ability. Beyond wrestling, he has also pursued acting roles in various films and television shows. He currently operates a professional wrestling school, The Academy: School of Professional Wrestling, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
