Kevin Godfrey (footballer)
Kevin Godfrey is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy and the Brisbane Bears in the Victorian Football League (VFL)/Australian Football League (AFL).
Godfrey debuted for Fitzroy in 1984 and played primarily as a defender. He was known for his strong marking and contested ball skills. Godfrey played 68 games for Fitzroy over five seasons.
In 1989, Godfrey joined the newly formed Brisbane Bears. He played a further 15 games for the Bears before retiring from AFL football at the end of the 1989 season.
After his AFL career, Godfrey remained involved in football at a local level. Details of his activities post-AFL career are limited.
