Damansara (Kuala Lumpur federal constituency)

Damansara was a federal constituency in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that was represented in the Dewan Rakyat from 1974 to 2018. It was created in 1974 following a redelineation of electoral boundaries and was abolished in 2018 when it was split into three new constituencies: Petaling Jaya, Damansara, and Shah Alam.

Throughout its existence, Damansara was a significant electoral area, often considered a bellwether for national political trends due to its diverse demographics and socio-economic makeup. It primarily encompassed areas that are now part of Petaling Jaya, a major city in Selangor, bordering Kuala Lumpur.
