Charlie Gardiner (Australian footballer)

Charlie Gardiner (born circa 1905, died 1975) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy and North Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Gardiner played for Fitzroy from 1927 to 1930, primarily as a defender. He was known for his strong marking and reliable play. After leaving Fitzroy, Gardiner joined North Melbourne, where he played a further season in 1931.
