2018 China Open (snooker)

The 2018 China Open was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place from April 2 to April 8, 2018, at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in Beijing, China. It was the penultimate ranking event of the 2017/2018 snooker season.

Mark Selby was the defending champion, but he lost in the second round to Scott Donaldson. Mark Williams won the tournament, defeating Ding Junhui 10–9 in the final. This victory marked Williams's second ranking title of the season and the 20th of his professional career. The tournament featured a total prize fund of £850,000, with the winner receiving £225,000. Players such as Ronnie O'Sullivan, Judd Trump, and John Higgins also participated in the event.
