Adenau (Verbandsgemeinde)

The Verbandsgemeinde Adenau is a collective municipality (a type of administrative division) located in the district of Ahrweiler, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. A Verbandsgemeinde is a type of municipality in Rhineland-Palatinate that groups together several independent municipalities (called Ortsgemeinden) to jointly perform certain administrative tasks. The seat of the Verbandsgemeinde administration is in the town of Adenau itself.
