BBC East

BBC East is the British Broadcasting Corporation's regional television service for the East of England, covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, and parts of Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, and Buckinghamshire. The regional headquarters are located in Norwich.

The main output of BBC East is the regional news programme BBC Look East, broadcast twice nightly on weekdays and once at weekends. Other regional programming includes topical debate shows, features, and documentaries related to the region.

In addition to television, BBC East also produces local radio services including BBC Radio Norfolk, BBC Radio Suffolk, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, BBC Three Counties Radio (covering Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire), and BBC Essex.

The BBC East region plays a role in covering national events that occur within its broadcast area, and also contributes to national BBC programming from time to time. The region is also responsible for online news and information relevant to the East of England through the BBC News website.
