Duncan Hames

Duncan Hames (born 16 March 1977) is a British Liberal Democrat politician. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Chippenham from 2010 to 2015.

Before entering Parliament, Hames worked for the Liberal Democrats, including as a campaigns director. He studied at the University of Oxford and worked in the private sector prior to his political career.

During his time in Parliament, Hames served on the Public Accounts Committee and was involved in various policy areas, including public finances and environmental issues. He lost his seat to Michelle Donelan of the Conservative Party in the 2015 general election.

Following his parliamentary career, Hames has held positions at Transparency International UK, focusing on anti-corruption efforts. He continues to be involved in public life and contributes to discussions on governance and political reform.
