Giske (village)

Giske is a village and the administrative centre of Giske Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the southern part of the island of Giske, one of the islands in the municipality.

The village is primarily a residential area, with some local businesses and services. The main church for the municipality, Giske Church, is located in the village. It's a medieval stone church dating back to the 12th century.

The village of Giske is connected to the nearby islands of Valderøya and Godøya by a system of bridges and tunnels known as the Nordøyvegen (North Island Route), which further connects to the mainland.
