Secret Story (French TV series) season 5 was the fifth season of the French reality television show Secret Story, which is the French version of the international Big Brother format. It aired from July 8, 2011 to October 14, 2011 on TF1. The show, hosted by Benjamin Castaldi, featured a group of contestants, known as "housemates" or "candidates," living together in a custom-built house, cut off from the outside world and constantly monitored by cameras and microphones.

The central premise of Secret Story revolves around each housemate possessing a unique secret that they must keep hidden from the other contestants. Conversely, housemates are encouraged to uncover the secrets of their fellow participants. Each week, viewers vote to evict one or more housemates, and the last remaining housemate wins a grand prize.
