Thomas Cook (MP for North Norfolk)
Thomas Cook (born c. 1961) is a British politician and was the Member of Parliament (MP) for North Norfolk from 1997 to 2001, representing the Labour Party. He was elected at the 1997 general election, unseating the incumbent Conservative MP David Prior.
During his time in Parliament, Cook served on several select committees, including the Environmental Audit Committee. He was known for his work on rural affairs and environmental issues.
In the 2001 general election, Cook lost his seat to the Conservative candidate Norman Lamb. Following his defeat, he largely withdrew from public life.
