Maggette

Maggette, Corey (born November 25, 1979), is a retired American professional basketball player. A 6'6" small forward/shooting guard, Maggette played 12 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Bobcats, Detroit Pistons, and San Antonio Spurs.

Maggette was a McDonald's All-American at Duke University before declaring for the 1999 NBA draft after his freshman year. He was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics with the 13th overall pick and immediately traded to the Orlando Magic. He became known for his aggressive style of play and ability to draw fouls, consistently ranking among the league leaders in free throw attempts. His most productive years were with the Los Angeles Clippers, where he was a consistent scorer and team leader. Following his playing career, Maggette has been involved in various business ventures and community initiatives.
