Gary Grant (politician)

Gary Grant (born January 23, 1949) is a Canadian politician. He served as a Member of Parliament in the House of Commons of Canada representing the riding of Ontario from 1984 to 1993. He was a member of the Progressive Conservative party under Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.

Grant was first elected in the 1984 federal election. He was re-elected in the 1988 federal election. During his time in Parliament, he served on several committees, often focusing on issues related to agriculture and the environment.

He was defeated in the 1993 federal election by Liberal candidate Derek Lee. Since leaving federal politics, Grant has remained active in community affairs in the Ontario region.
